The Eco BITE™ Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) is a multi pollutant trap which is an innovative, cost efficient, environmentally friendly product designed to effectively remove contaminants and pollutants from fluid transport networks, protecting downstream ecological systems. To achieve the best practice in environmental management, it is very important that catchments throughout Australia are protected against harmful water-borne pollutants.

Acknowledging that the greatest concentrations of storm water pollution may be contained within the frequent low flows and during the first flush events, the Eco BITE™ gross pollutant trap (GPT) has been developed to ensure that maximum pollutant retention is achieved in both instances, especially for the frequent low flows.

ECO BITE™ GPT Advantages
Cost efficient
Low maintenance
Environmentally friendly
Protection of Australian waterways from harmful contaminants

ECO BITE™ GPT Features
Proudly Australian made and manufactured, Eco BITE™ GPT gross pollutant trap is supported by its credentials as easy installation product (single chamber), which most importantly offers the benefit of maintaining water quality within the local and greater communities within Australia.
We produce individual designs for each Eco BITE™ Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT), which are tailored specifically to your project needs and to improve and maintain water quality in the community. Our tailored approach allows us to maximise the effectiveness of the separation process, and to give specific consideration to assess, support and facilitate the following
Target pollutants

Site details
Hydraulic data (flow rates,GWL, etc.)
Required storage capacity
Inlet/outlet levels, sizes, type and configuration
Access for future inspection, cleaning, monitoring and maintenance
Consideration of required optional features for the gross pollutant trap (GPT) i.e isolation gates, removable baskets etc

Cleaning & Maintenance Of The Eco BITE™ GROSS POLLUTANT TRAP (GPT)
Access to the Eco BITE™ gross polluant trap (GPT) allows for vacuum eduction trucks being positioned immediately adjacent to the gross pollutant trap.

Our Eco BITE™ gross pollutant traps design allows for easy access from the surface via the surface covers circular openings, allowing the continued protection of surrounding landcscape and environment.

The major benefit of this cleaning process is that all chambers can be easily accessed from the surface, which minimises the on going clean out costs with simplified techniques.

The Eco BITE™ gross pollutant trap has no storage chambers that require high pressure jetting out of pollutants trapped in lower chambers, not easily accessible from the surface.

Size & Capacity Of ECO BITE™ GROSS POLLUTANT TRAP
The Eco BITE™ gross pollutant trap is a custom product, made especially to suit your project needs and maximise stormwater management. We have designed and produced Eco BITE™ gross pollutant traps throughout Western Australia, which range in size, capacity and conceptual design. By getting in touch with us, you will be fully supported by one of our highly experienced Smartstream Technology team members who will discuss your range of available options, to match the timeline of your project.
