Smartstream Technology have recently won 2 awards for their new PE 600mm Access Chamber cover.
With the lid weighing only 12kg, the risk of back injuries has been greatly reduced. The cover
is lockable, gas and water tight, and conforms to AS3996.

Noosa chose to use PE Smartpits as part of the design for the new Landfill cell. Smartpits are totally impervious to harmfull fluids that can be found in Landfills. A groundwater lowering system was considered necessary.
The lowering system consists of gravel filled trenches and perforated pipes laid under the landfill liner.
The Smartstream manholes are used at junction points where the groundwater lowering drains connect to the header line and eventually to an outlet in the sediment pond.
